Eight years have gone by. This time I can say that I visited the site of Ground Zero in New York. It wasn't how I expected it to look because a lot of time and work has gone into the site. It looked like any other vacant construction site.
I can only imagine what it looked like immediately afterwards. Everything is so close together. It's amazing that there wasn't more destruction.
My prayers and thoughts are with everyone on this date that I'll never forget.
